If pushed, I could be your worst fucking nightmare. One of Richard's world class employee f#ckings is spending 80k buying himself a sailboat. Nothing really wrong with that...right? Except he didn't leave enough money to cover his employee's paychecks. This was not the only time he caused employee paychecks to bounce. When one of his long time employees refused to work untill his second bounced paycheck was made good, Richard FIRED HIM for complaining about it. When this employee filed for unemployment. Richard Brown contested, and lost again. You have to hand it to Richard Brown though. He isn't going to let some stupid labor laws affect how he deals with troublesome employees . Do you see a pattern here? When an employee does what is obviously the right and legal thing to do; Richard Brown Fires him .Sounds like I am making this shit up. These incidents can't be true. There are missing facts or exaggerations. Right? The pathetic thing is, it's all true and can be verified with the Texas Employment Commission. Richard Brown has no respect or compassion for his employees. The very people that are driving for him 80 or more hours a week without the benefit of overtime pay. He sees them as little more than a commodity to be used and discarded when they get in his way. When making any business decision, the last thing on his mind is the welfare of his employees. Probably the best way to describe Richard's employee policy is remember the 3 F's.

I was recently contacted by two ex-employees of Richard Brown that disagree with my assessment of him. One of them was there while I was employed there. They were both office employees that received salaries or hourly wages for their labor . Not like the drivers that were constantly expected to do things "off the clock". Needless to say, they thought he was a real prince. They were convinced that I have distorted the facts and ignored any positive opinion offered by ex-drivers. In their emails they "didn't remember" or "weren't there when" the incidents I cited occurred . They contradicted themselves in the same paragraph, saying so and so quit but received unemployment pay. YOU DON'T GET UNEMPLOYMENT IF YOU QUIT OR GET FIRED FOR CAUSE. Well this site has been around for several years and no driver has ever emailed me to defend Richard Brown. In fact, I never met a driver with any time working for Richard that though he was a fair or honest employer. I bet now all of a sudden I get emails telling me what a swell guy he was. Not to worry though. I have ways of separating the wheat from the chaff/bullshit. Help Needed............. Do you have any current information on that PRICK...RICHARD BROWN? I would love to know what his current venture is. I heard he was trying to set up a tour agency or something of that nature related to sailing. I am an ex-Aircar driver that maintained a Lycos information website. I tried to inform potential employees about Aircar's often ILLEGAL and sometimes dangerous employee policies and practices. Practices that forced the Texas Employment Commission to rule against them more than once. Aircar tried to silence me. They have failed!!! Truth is on my side
